How it works
Weighted by credits, not by subjects
Grade × credits
Every subject contributes its grade point multiplied by its credit weight. A 9 in a 4-credit paper moves the average more than a 9 in a 1-credit one.
Divide by total credits
The sum of all weighted points is divided by the sum of all credits. The result is your CGPA on the same scale as the grade points you entered (usually 0–10).
Every line counts
Add as many subjects as you need — a single semester or your whole degree. Malformed lines are skipped, so typos never corrupt the result.

How do I enter subjects with different credits?
Put the grade point first and credits second on each line: 9 4 means 9 points in a 4-credit subject, 8 3 means 8 points in a 3-credit subject. The tool weighs each automatically.
My university uses letter grades, not numbers
Convert each letter to your university's grade-point scale first (A = 9 or 10, B = 8, and so on), then enter those numbers. The tool works on whatever 0–10 points you feed it.
Is a credit-weighted average the same as a simple average?
No. A simple average treats every subject equally. The credit-weighted average gives more influence to high-credit subjects — the same formula universities use for CGPA.
