    What is the YouTube title character limit?

    Why do emojis make my title look shorter than it is?

    Emoji and other wide glyphs occupy more pixel width than letters, and some render as multi-character sequences. The checker flags emoji so you know a title that 'fits' by character count may still wrap or truncate visually.

    How long should a YouTube title be?

    YouTube accepts up to 100 characters, but most titles are shown fully only at around 70 characters on common surfaces. Aim for 60–70 characters with the important words first.
